Configure Your Branding

Updated today

Strategy Overview is fully white-labelable. After configuration, your clients will see your MSP's name, logo, and colors, not Strategy Overview's. Take a few minutes to configure branding before sharing anything with clients.

Branding settings

Go to Settings > Branding to access all branding options.

App Name: rename "Strategy Overview" to your MSP's name. This changes what appears in the app header and throughout the interface.

Logos: there are three logo slots:

  • Company Logo is used on Report Cover Pages via macros. Upload your MSP's full logo. This is what your clients will see on the first page of every Report, so make sure it looks sharp.

  • App Logo is the square icon in the top left of the navigation. Use your MSP's icon or symbol mark.

  • Favicon shows in the browser tab and mobile bookmarks. We recommend 512x512 pixels so it displays correctly on mobile.

Primary Brand Color: affects buttons, highlights, and accent colors throughout the app. Set it to your MSP's primary brand color.

Login Wallpaper: this image appears on the login page. Clients see this when they log in to view their Reports.

Set up a custom domain and email

If you want to complete the white-label experience, you can configure a custom domain (so clients access the platform at a URL like app.yourmsp.com) and a custom email (so invitations and password resets come from your address instead of Strategy Overview's). For full setup steps, see the Custom Domain and Email article.

Review general settings

While you're in Settings, take a quick look at Settings > General to confirm:

  • Company Information: make sure your MSP name and details are accurate

  • Localization: confirm the date format matches your preference

  • Groups: you should have at least one group set up (you may have created this when adding your team)

  • Markets: if you connected a PSA, your markets may have synced automatically. If not, add a few that match your client verticals. If your PSA is connected, it's best to manage markets in your PSA and let them sync.

  • Types: same as markets. Types with the "Prospect" checkbox checked won't show up on the Schedule or Stack modules.

  • Company Statuses: typically just Active and Inactive. If your PSA is connected, manage these in your PSA.

Mobile access

Strategy Overview works in a responsive browser on your phone. You can bookmark it to your home screen on iPhone or Android for quick access to plans, Reports, and tickets on the go. Native mobile apps are in development.
