Setup Warranty Integration:
Enable warranty service
Settings> Integrations>Add integration>Warranty service>Add Integration
Setup Asset groups to Update:
Select the group you want to include in warranty Service (1)
By default, all PSA assets are enabled for sync. You may want to deselect non-relevant groups (e.g., Monitors) to speed up the Warranty Service.
Make sure that all required fields are mapped or change the mapping by clicking the field (2).
For PSA assets all four fields must be mapped.
For assets imported form different sources (e.g. IT Glue flexible assets or IT Glue Configurations) it is enough to map only the Serial number and Warranty expiration date fields.
When all fields are mapped and group selected, the system will show word "Mapped" (3).
Setup fields to update in your PSA
Settings - Integrations - Warranty Service - "Update in PSA" tab:
- Manufacturer: check
- Warranty Expiration date: check
- Purchase date: checkNote. Check these properties only if you want our application to update your data in your PSA.
Otherwise, leave them unchecked.
Logs
If you experience any issues, please review the logs:
Settings - Integrations - Warranty Service - "Logs" tab.
Warranty sync logic:
System takes assets list to update.
All assets from Flexible Items module that belong to the groups selected in Warranty service Settings (Warranty Integration - tab "Flexible Items")
System takes the serial number according to Warranty service mapping.
You can confirm that serial numbers are saved in the correct column by clicking the column header and selecting Edit Column.
The column type should be Serial Number.
System identifies the manufacturer by serial number mask (number of digits and positions of letters and numbers are used) or using DB record that confirms the manufacturer from the previously performed syncs.
System sends the serial number into warranty service.
Currently we support:
- HP.
- Lenovo.
- Dell.
- HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise).
- Acer.
- Asus.
- Apple! (Beta, released in v9.0.0 11/1/2025).
Warranty service returns:
- Warranty Expiration Date.
- Purchase date.
System saves the updated info on SO side and flags that sync priority for these fields is now on SO side:
- when warranty is off, then priority is on PSA side
- when warranty is on, then sync priority is on SO side.
During the next PSA sync system updates the fields in PSA (depends on settings on SO side on the tab "Update in PSA").
Sync regularity:
New asset appears - sync runs the same day.
All assets - once a month.
