The Marketplace is a collection of professionally designed templates created by Strategy Overview and other publishers. You can browse and import both Strategy templates and Plan templates to accelerate your setup.
Accessing the Marketplace
Go to Settings > Marketplace in your Strategy Overview account. The Marketplace is available for all accounts (both free and paid). Admins and Managers can access and import templates.
Browsing templates
Each template in the Marketplace displays the template name and type (Strategy or Plan), publisher information, a preview image, a description of its purpose, and pricing (currently all templates are free).
You can filter by template type (Plan, Strategy, or All) and by creator/publisher. Use the search bar to find templates by name or description.
Importing a template
Browse the Marketplace and find a template you want
Click Get Template
Confirm your selection in the popup
The system creates a copy of the template in your account
What gets imported
The import copies text sections (Executive Summaries, Cover Pages), Assessment content and structure, Plan components and framework, and the overall template organization.
What doesn't get imported
To protect your account, certain elements are excluded: integration-specific data that doesn't match your setup, custom fields that don't exist in your account, security-sensitive content like external links, and account-specific settings.
Template naming
Imported templates are automatically named with "- Marketplace" appended to help you identify them. If you already have a template with the same name, the system adds "(Copy N)" to avoid conflicts.
After importing
Permissions: All Admins plus the user who imported the template will have access
Not set as default: Imported templates won't be marked as your default template automatically
Full editing rights: You can modify the imported template just like any other template in your account
