How Plan Templates Work

Plan templates define content for the flexible planning module. When you create a plan from a template or apply a template to an existing plan, the system copies that content into your plan.

Updates don't flow to existing plans: Changes to a plan template only affect new plans created from that template. Plans you've already created won't receive updates from the template. This gives you complete control over each plan's content without worrying about template changes affecting work in progress.

How to Use Plan Templates

Create a new plan from a template: When creating a new plan, select a plan template. The system copies the template content into your new plan.

Apply a template to an existing plan: Add content from a plan template to a plan you're already working on. The template content appends to the end of your existing plan.

Customizing Plan Templates

Access plan templates at Settings > Plan Templates.

Remember: Changes to plan templates only affect new plans created from that template. Existing plans won't receive updates when you modify a plan template.
