Strategy Overview as a customer Portal

Updated over a week ago

Strategy Overview can be used as a client portal for clients to login and see their IT Plan, strategic assessment, assets, managed users, Office 365 licenses, roadmap, budgets, tickets, billing, submit user onboarding/offboarding requests, and anything you can imagine using our powerful flexible template and module system.

SO is primarily designed to invite client POCs (Point of contacts) but we will be releasing features for mass user usage next year.

To start using SO as a client portal you should do the following

  1. Branding
    Setup branding

  4. Tickets
Make sure your tickets integration is configured correctly:

    1. Check Boards permissions by roles and companies

    2. Check Fields permissions by roles

    3. Check Notes Permissions be roles
See the full Tickets Integrations instruction here

  5. Invite test user

    1. Create a distribution list in your company called [email protected] and [email protected] and have them forward to you

    2. Create test user in SO

      1. Limit only to their companies

      2. Set role as: External Client - Editor (Editors can see all company tickets, Read only users can only see their tickets)

      3. Set module list. We recommend the following (If they have multiple companies you can also give them the Companies module)

    3. Login as your test user and confirm they see what you want them to see. (Consider making any parts on the report as Internal)

  6. Client links

    1. Login button on website
Add the "Login" button in top right of your website

    2. RMM Tray Shortcut
Add Client Portal to your RMM desktop tray and link to your app.yourdomain.com

    3. Link on invoices
Add the link to your invoice notes so clients can start to self audit the user and Office 365 list and reduce time wasted on answering billing questions!

  7. Invite your users

    1. Invite a small batch of users first. Send invites while logged into your branded tenant.

    2. Then invite all users you need

  8. Use SO as client portal!

    1. When you finish a meeting, send the client their PDF and the link to the SO

    2. Whenever a client has a question about asset counts, managed user list, a specific ticket, Office 365 list and more you should send them a link to the website

    3. Add your new user onboarding and offboarding forms as modules into SO and push all users to fill out their user changes in the portal.
