Change vCIO label

Updated over a week ago

Virtual Chief Information Officers are people who align technology strategy to the goals of the business.

Strategy Overview uses "vCIO" as the default label for the primary strategic contact at your MSP. If your company uses a different title for this role, you can easily change the label to match your terminology.

The label is set on a per-template basis, which gives you flexibility for different use cases. Most MSPs use a single template with one vCIO role and simply update the label to reflect their specific title (like "Technology Advisor," "Strategic Account Manager," or "IT Director").

However, if you use multiple templates for different purposes, you can set different labels for each. For example, some MSPs create separate templates for client success or account management roles handled by different team members. In these cases, you might use "Account Manager" or "Client Success Manager" as the label in those templates while keeping "vCIO" in your main strategic template.

To change the primary user label:

Settings - Templates - Open template - "Primary user label" field
