Prerequisites

  • You must have Admin or Manager permissions to add parts to Strategy Reports

Working with Plan Parts

Permissions and Access

  • Your ability to view and edit plan content depends on your specific permissions for that plan

  • Even if you don't have access to the Plan Module, you can still work with specific plans if you have the proper permissions

Live Data Connection

  • Plan parts display live data from the original plan. When columns are added to the source plan, they automatically appear in your Strategy Report's build mode.

Column and Filter Management

  • Column visibility and filters are saved separately for each plan part in your report

  • You can customize which columns appear in build, display, and presentation modes

  • Sort order is maintained per report part and applies to all three display modes

Troubleshooting

Plan Not Found

  • If a linked plan is deleted, you'll see a message: "Plan was not found, please check the link to a plan in Parts Settings." In draft reports, you can edit the part to select a different plan.

Access Issues

  • If you don't have permission to view a plan, you'll see: "Plan content is not available for your account. Please reach out your administrator to get access to the Plan."
